Fate Seller運命を賣る男
A group piece presented during Part Three of the Third Kazuo Ohno Modern Dance Recital, which took place in November 1951.
The programme includes the following text:
“I feel as though I have heard it said that ‘life exists outside of necessity.’
While some have sought to analyze life scientifically through accumulated ‘totality,’ there have also been ways of thinking that attempt to explain life scientifically through the lines that connect chance to chance.
Through dance, I take my first step in learning about life by depicting an old-fashioned episode brought about by the most ordinary coincidence.”
