The Dead Sea | Theatre Fonte

Kazuo Ohno Retrospective vol.3 as well as a part of Drama Zone Along The Sotetsu Line ‘95 Series.
Previously, on 16 January, a lecture was held for those who saw butoh for the first time.

Gidayu, a Japanese ballad drama, started to be used around the New York performance in November 1985, 7 months after the premiere. In this 1995 performance at Theatre Fonte, Asaju Takemoto recited Gidayu live along with shamisen music played by Tsugaju Tsuruzawa.

In the foyer, a painting by Isao Mizutani, which was used in the flyer and the programme, was exhibited.

Kazuo Ohno Retrospective was held 6 times, starting in April, 1994 with Water Lilies and ending with The Road In Heaven, The Road In Earth in 1997.
